Advocate

We are more than fundraisers. We are hand raisers. We know that we win when we LIVE UNITED.

We work with local legislators, communities, programs, and leaders, as well as across our network of over 30 United Way agencies in the Pacific Northwest, to establish mission-driven public policy goals and priorities to achieve systemic changes. Our advocacy efforts include sharing what we have learned and heard from the community, focusing on where we align with others, and working with allies to collectively drive change.

We also advocate for local initiatives by providing fiscal sponsorships that facilitate tax-deductible donations to programs or organizations who are not 501(c)(3), but who are still doing crucial work toward improving the health, education, and financial stability of our coastal communities.
