    • Business services – job fairs (virtual at this time), hiring events, recruitment, job postings/outreach

    • Voluntary “SNAP Training and Employment Program (STEP)” – individuals must be receiving SNAP benefits

      • Connection to professional career coach using a case management approach

      • Help with short/long term career goals, clothing, training, gas funds, internet or cell phone costs, and more

      • Potential financial support available

    • NEW: partnering with Oregon nonprofit to help with expungement process

    • Coos Bay and Brookings office hours are 8:30-5pm, no appointment needed but virtual/in person appts are available

South Coast Social Services Connect meetings will continue virtually through year-end, but we are looking to host smaller in-person regional networking meetings as COVID permits.
