Connect Oregon - Anna Warner (Advanced Health), Momone Maley (Unite Us)

• Free, secure online community resource platform for Coos/Curry

• Provider-to-provider referrals, client self-referrals

• Securely share client information locally, regionally, statewide

• Used for: Tracking, closing loops, communicating with CBOs, helping most vulnerable community members and keeping them from falling through the cracks

• Patrick Murphy - Southwestern Oregon Veterans Outreach (sovo4vets@gmail.com), serving Coos/Curry/western Douglas, primarily with referrals for food, clothing, shelter, health care, transportation, employment, education

• Brooklyn Perry (Boys & Girls Club) - tech classes available for 7-12 grade youth, open gym on Fridays, e-sports teams starting this week, open house 1/20 (5:30-8pm)

• Joshua Sowers (Adapt) - team is staffed! Six staff on board for homeless outreach, employment support, housing/tenancy

• Libby Kennard (Parkinson’s Research) - upcoming events (see flyer), looking for regular meeting spaces

• Gordon Clay (Zero Attempts, gordonclay@aol.com) - looking for an organization in Coos that works with suicide prevention to join the Oregon Alliance to Prevent Suicide and participate in a $417,000 fund of mini-grants for projects for at least 2023

• Starla Paris (OHDS) - emergency SNAP allotment ending in February (see https://content.govdelivery.com/accounts/ORDHS/bulletins/341df4f), Gold Beach office will be remodeled and staff will be limited in the office

• Sam Baugh (Advanced Health) - Community Health Assessment survey will launch in January, please share! Focus groups will be held in February
