June 2020 Emergency Relief Fund Grants Announced

Thanks to generous support from Advanced Health, AllCare Health, Dutch Bros Foundation, Wild Rivers Coast Alliance, and local individuals, our June emergency relief grant cycle provided $35,100 in awards to 21 Coos and Curry County community organizations who have been impacted by COVID-19. The following organizations received funding to help with operations, services to clients and/or the community, and essential needs during this difficult time:

  • Langlois Public Library
  • Oasis Advocacy & Shelter
  • Port Orford Public Library
  • South Coast Business / Area Agency on Aging
  • South Coast Together
  • Star of Hope
  • The ARK Project
  • The Nancy Devereux Center
  • The SAFE Project
  • Wally’s House

Our grant allocation committee and Board of Directors thanks these organizations, and all of you, for everything you are doing to support our community at this time.

Our Board and staff are working on plans for future application cycles. In the interim, nonprofit and community organizations providing services in Coos County or Curry County who need assistance due to conditions caused directly by the COVID-19 pandemic are invited to contact us to discuss their needs, whether they are ongoing or emerging. We want to hear from you!
