April 2020 Emergency Relief Fund Grants Announced

Thanks to generous support from The Oregon Community Foundation, The Ford Family Foundation, and local individuals, this month we are providing  $33,250 in Emergency Relief grant awards to 24 Coos and Curry County community organizations who have been impacted by COVID-19. The following organizations will receive funding to help with operations during this difficult time:

For providing food, meals, essential items, and/or delivery services –

  • Alternative Youth Activities
  • Bear Cupboard Food Pantry
  • Brookings Church of the Nazarene
  • Brookings Harbor Food Bank
  • Charleston Food Bank
  • Coastline Neighbors
  • Knights of the Columbus Council #1261
  • Operation Rebuild Hope
  • Oregon Coast Community Action / South Coast Food Share
  • Powers Food Pantry
  • South Coast Business / Area Agency on Aging
  • St. Timothy’s Community Kitchen
  • Waterfall Community Health Center

For community organizations impacted by COVID-19 who are providing other essential services –

  • Bandon Community Youth Center
  • Coastal Home Health & Hospice
  • Consumer Credit Counseling Services
  • Curry Homeless Coalition
  • Growing Through It
  • Harmony United Methodist Church
  • Kairos Coastline Services
  • South Coast Hospice & Palliative Care
  • The Devereux Center
  • The SAFE Project
  • Wally’s House
